WUNDERDOG IS CLOSING

After 28 extraordinary years serving dogs and their families as a Dog Behavior Specialist and Professional Trainer, I am officially retiring from training services. What began as a dream grew into a mission, a movement, and a life’s purpose. Training dogs has always been my heart work—but building Wunderdog was my entrepreneur’s journey.

As an entrepreneur, I took a leap of faith and started Wunderdog with nothing more than passion, knowledge, and a belief that people and dogs deserved better understanding and deeper connection. The entire company was built by word of mouth alone—one conversation, one happy client, one transformed dog at a time. No marketing campaigns. No launch strategy. Just trust, results, and a community that talked. That grassroots beginning carried Wunderdog forward to become one of the most respected training companies in New Hampshire, and later here in Wisconsin—a success story powered by dogs, dedication, and community support.

And while this chapter of training services is closing for me, I’m not going anywhere. You’ll still see me at Zen Dogs Center (my other business), hear from me, perhaps through a podcast, a future book, and maybe even catch a few tips if I see you around!

To the families who trusted me, supported me, and encouraged others to find us along the way — thank you. You entrusted me with your pups, your challenges, your celebrations, and your breakthroughs. That trust changed lives — theirs, yours, and mine. And the future is undeniably bright for every “Wunderdog” we’ve had the privilege to work with. These once-uncertain, misunderstood, or overwhelmed dogs have carried their progress outward into the world — creating happier homes, inspiring others, and proving that with the right guidance, every dog’s story can evolve into something extraordinary. The future looks especially brilliant for all the Wunderdogs of tomorrow and the countless Wunderdogs already out there, living their brightest lives.

A special acknowledgment to the people who stood by me and helped shape this journey:

• Peter Wunderli, for helping lay the foundation of Wunderdog and supporting every twist, growth phase, and transition along the way.

• Ben Whittington, my business partner of three years, for his dedication, collaboration, and shared passion for moving Wunderdog forward.

• Morgan Howard, my protege and lead trainer — your talent, intuition, dedication, and growth have established you as one of the best trainers in the region. Watching you evolve into the skilled professional you are today has been one of my greatest joys.

This decision has been one of the hardest I’ve ever made, but it is the right one — for me, and for that of Wunderdog. I step into semi-retirement proud, grateful, and optimistic. The Wunderdog legacy is strong. The community is incredible. And the Wunderdogs themselves? Well, they are living proof that the best is yet to come in your lives with them.Thank you for the years, the trust, the stories, the progress, the breakthroughs, and the dogs that taught me just as much as I taught them.

With love, excitement, and endless gratitude,

Lynn 🐾
