WELCOME TO THE "WUNDERDOG ADOPTION CORNER!"  WE LOVE THAT YOU ARE HERE!

MEET "MISSY!"  SHE'S A COON-HOUND MIX APPROXIMATELY 1.5 YEARS OLD.  THEY DON'T COME ANY SWEETER!

10/19/09 UPDATE!  BRYNN (NOW LILY) HAS BEEN ADOPTED!  SHE WENT TO A WONDERFUL HOME IN CT WHERE SHE HAS A PIT BULL BROTHER, "GUINESS," AND TWO LOVING "PARENTS!"  SHE IS DOING GREAT AND IS VERY CONTENT IN HER NEW FOREVER-HOME!Hello--my name is Bynn!  At least that is what Auntie Lynn is calling me--it just kept slipping out--and when Lynn looked up the meaning of the name, she found it means "hill, or from the hill."  Auntie Lynn thought this was very fitting as I have climbed many large hills so far in my short life, and I climbing.  I am not going to give up the climb!  My name when arriving at Wunderdog was Wren, and before that it was Desy.  I have been bounced around for such a young girl.  Not because I am not a wonderful dog, but because I have been misunderstood.  I do have energy, and I am an athlete.  But more than those characteristics, I am a "quick study."  I learn VERY rapidly, and am very interested in pleasing the humans in my life.  Look into my eyes and you will see the soul of a sweet, wonderful, forever family member.  I am waiting for the right home--one rich with love, fun, happiness.  I deserve this because I have been bounced around...I need to know that where I am is where I'll stay.  I need structure--a routine to call my own!  I am crate trained, house trained, and good with other dogs of all sizes.  My previous foster mother said I am good with cats, too!  I just need a chance.  Auntie Lynn can help you continue to help me learn what I need to know to be a part of YOUR FAMILY!  For more information on adopting me, go to the front page of our website and follow the upper left-hand link to "PAWS New England."

 Meet Gussy!

2/1/09:  ADOPTED!!! THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HELPED WITH TRYING TO FIND GUSSY A HOME!  SHE IS HAPPY AND HEALTHY, AND WITH A WONDERFUL FAMILY (ALONG WITH 2 OTHER SHEPHERDS)....thanks to all the "Wunderdog Angels" who worked with, and for Gussy!

Agusta (Gussy) is a young, HAPPY, beautiful German Shepherd who is approximately 1 and a half years old.  She is great with people (old and young), great with other dogs, seemingly (physically) healthy (awaiting her records), beautiful, and very smart.  She is a quick-learner, and would do well in a household where she will "work" for her food, treats, and all privileges.  She is "sable" in color, and has some unusual markings that her owner was told were very rare.  She needs a family willing to exercise her mind and her body every day.

We have begun training her in basic obedience (she knew "sit" already), and she is loving our sessions.  So far she has learned "down," "leave it," and has been praciticing "sit."   We are working on her manners--correcting her jumping (on people) and her tendency to charge through doors unaware.  We are so happy with the progress she is making!

Gussy is up-to-date on all of her vaccinations, and is spayed.  She is being fostered here at Wunderdog.

She will be a special addition to anyone's family!!  PLEASE CONTACT LYNN IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING HER.

UPDATE!  AS OF AUGUST 5, 2009--BONITA WAS ADOPTED!  SHE JOINED A FAMILY FROM ROCHESTER, NH, ALONG WITH ANOTHER RAT TERRIER MIX ("PEDRO") IN BECOMING PART OF THEIR "PACK!" WUNDERDOG WISHES TO THANK THE IN-HOUSE WUNDERDOG ANGELS FOR ALL THAT THEY DID FOR BONITA-- THE TIME THEY SPENT WITH HER, THE FINANCIAL BACKING THEY PROVIDED TO HER VETERINARY CARE, EVERYTHING!  WE WILL MISS BONITA, BUT WE ARE HAPPY FOR HER!

MEET "BONITA" ("BEAUTIFUL IN SPANISH).  SHE IS A RAT TERRIER AGED ABOUT 10 YEARS, AND SHE IS LOOKING FOR A GREAT HOME!  SHE WAS A FEW HOURS FROM BEING PUT TO SLEEP WHEN ONE OF OUR WUNDERDOG ANGELS SAVED HER.  I HAD HIM BRING HER RIGHT OVER, AND SHE HAS BEEN HERE EVER SINCE.  SHE HAS JUST LEARNED WHAT A CRATE IS (SHE LOVES HER BED), AND WE ARE WORKING ON BASIC COMMANDS.  SHE IS SWEET AND JUST NEEDS A CHANCE TO BE A PART OF A FAMILY.  OUR IN-HOUSE WUNDERDOG ANGELS HAVE BEEN TAKING HER TO THEIR HOME MOST EVERY NIGHT WHERE SHE IS BEING EXPOSED TO A GOOD FAMILY LIFE--THEY WOULD KEEP HER EXCEPT SHE IS NOT GOOD WITH CATS!!!

BONITA GETS ALONG FINE WITH OTHER DOGS, BUT CAN BE A BIT FOOD AGGRESSIVE AS WE BELIEVE SHE CAME FROM A ONE-DOG HOME AND WAS NEVER OFFERED PROPER LEADERSHIP.  SHE HAS A LOT OF POTENTIAL, HAS HAD ALL OF HER SHOTS, HER TEETH CLEANED (4 EXTRACTED), AND LOVES TO GO FOR WALKS AND PLAY WITH SQUEAKY TOYS!  WON'T YOU CONSIDER HAVING BONITA JOIN YOUR FAMILY?

"PETEY" THE WUNDERDOG!

MEET PETEY.  He is listed on the 'PAWS New England' website as a "Pit Bull Mix." Here at Wunderdog, we think he is an American Bulldog cross.  Not that it matters because Petey is an absolute dream for any family wanting a dog.  He gets along with all other dogs, all adults and children, cats....you name it!  We have fallen in-love with Petey!  He is the epitome of a SAINT (in dog form, of course!)--his attitude towards everything and everyone is beyond our scope of understanding--read his "bio" and you'll understand!  CLICK ON "PAWS NEW ENGLAND LINK ON THE TOP LEFT-HAND CORNER OF OUR HOME PAGE AND FOLLOW THE LINK FOR THE RESCUE ORGANIZATION (PETEY IS "PETEY1")
