Cindy Lodise:Cindy is the newest "addition" to the Wunderdog/Wunderli family...although she has been a (human) nurse for over 30 years, she is very interested in the dog world. She is currently training to be a groomer, and attends most every canine conference with Lynn as she possibly can. Cindy has owned Schnauzers (first Minis, now 2 Giants) and is "in-love" with the breed! You will often see Cindy, walking Wunderdogs, throwing balls and playing with the Wunderdogs, or learning/practicing in the grooming area. Cindy brings her extensive medical knowledge and experience to Wunderdog, and has a keen-eye and interest in canine nutrition and general health. We hope by 2010 Cindy will have all the hours needed to accept her own grooming clientele, and will work more than one day a week at Wunderdog.
Laney Wunderli:Laney is Lynn and Peter's 21 yr old who has done amazing things with dogs since she was very young. At 13 yrs, she participated in the Pet Expo in Boston with Lynn, and together they attended multiple lectures on canine health, behavior, and breeding programs. Later that year, Laney completed the first level agility course in Straham, NH, and later began in-home care through Wunderdog. Laney has a very natural way with the dogs and has had great success with obedience and "trick" training. She is a college student at the New England Institute of Art in Boston, MA, majoring in 3-D animation and video production. Her 8 month old English Setter, "Otis," is the LOVE of her life, and is currently being e-touch trained in obedience as well as on birds. It is our hope that with Lynn's bird dog background, and Laney's desire to learn more about her dog's innate behavior, Wunderdog will be able to facilitate a new program for retrievers. For information on how you can order artwork of YOUR dog with Laney, please see her page, "dog art." Chelsea Wunderli:
Madilyn Wunderli:Pictured here is Madilyn (14 yrs) in her "Canine Midwifery" mode. This Setter later whelped nine (9 !!) pups, and Madilyn was allowed to stay up most the night and help Mom. She was actually the main person to relax this newbie Mom, and was a HUGE help. Madi has been interested in dogs since she could toddle up to them. She was taught early on about dog behavior and the proper etiquette when approaching them, handling them, etc. Madilyn's interest in Science and Biology is making her think she wants to pursue Veterinary Medicine in college. Mom (Lynn) hopes so! You will see Madilyn walking our Wunderdogs, playing with them in the play areas, feeding and watering them....she is currently learning how to more formally obedience train our dogs.
Olivia Wunderli: Featured in this picture is Olivia ("Liv," 8 yrs old) the youngest of the Wunderli chicks....she is hanging out with HER Giant Schnauzer, Emeril (he is 8 yrs also!). Emeril is the first dog Liv trained by herself. Emeril will "sit," "down," "wait," "heel" on-lead, and "show his belly,"with/for Liv. You will always catch our littlest "dog assistant" throwing balls, encouraging A-Frame climbs, reading to the canines, and generally loving all the dogs here at Wunderdog. Olivia says when she grows up, she "wants to be a Dog Groomer!"
