Grooming

At Wunderdog, we go that "extra mile" to ensure that your pet comes home with a complete groom that will keep him/her smelling nice for awhile after your visit!  We use only the best animal products (all tear-free), and it is standard with a full groom to have a regular conditioning treatment.  We believe in the "art" of a groom, where we try to improve upon the natural beauty of your dog....he/she will be groomed to best accent him/her in relation to body shape and breed standards......

Included in our regular full grooming appointments, we observe the personal needs of your animal to address such issues as ear infections, tick removal, dry elbow and paw pads, skin rashes, cysts (new and old), etc.  We are very gentle in our brushing and combing, and do prefer to shave rather than pull unecessarily when the animal is severely matted or has sensitive skin.  We want the experience at Wunderog to be positive with the least amount of stress as possible.  Of course, we strive to keep the animal's coat as natural (long) as possible, and we try to educate our clients on how to best achieve that in-between grooming appointments.

All full grooming appointments include:

• Complete Brushing (basic) 
• Scissoring (basic)
• Clipping (basic)
• Ear Cleaning (basic)
• Bathing (with conditioning treatment)
• Power Drying
• Bandana to match the season

Extra Charges ($5 to $45)  May Be Applied For The Following (client is notified if possible prior to grooming if any apply):

• Excessive matting
• Excessive undercoat or shedding
• Medicated or Coat-Appropriate specialty shampoos
• Deep Conditioning (skin and coat) Treatment
• Any dog weighing over 95 lbs
• "Combat fees" for aggressive behavior

~And if you like, you can request just a bath at a reduced price! 

Full Grooming Prices:

Med/Large Dogs: $45 and Up

Small Dogs: $35 and Up

Long-Haired Dogs: $50 and Up

Cats: $50 and Up

All Body Shaves: (Large/Medium) $55 and Up

(Small) $45 and Up

"Just a Bath:"  $25 (any dog under 100 lbs) 

(Cats to be priced accordingly)

PLEASE NOTE:  ANY DOG THAT IS FOUND TO HAVE FLEAS OR TICKS WILL BE TREATED APPROPRIATELY, AND THE CLIENT WILL BE CHARGED ACCORDINGLY (THIS MAY INCLUDE A "CLEAN UP FEE" FOR ANY DISINFECTING OR "DE-BUGGING" OF OUR DOG ROOM).  WUNDERDOG ROUTINELY CHECKS FOR FLEAS AND TICKS AND WE ENCOURAGE OUR CLIENTS TO USE FLEA AND TICK PREVENTATIVE (OIL) YEAR-ROUND.
