Wunderdog Mission:
Our mission at Wunderdog is
to strengthen and improve the relationship between dog and
owner. With a better understanding of innate dog behavior,
both owner and dog will benefit, and Wunderdog strives to
teach this to our clients in a way that everyone can understand.
Whether our clients choose grooming, training, or daycare,
we provide this instruction. We don't just offer training
to the adults, we offer training to all members of the family-children
included! Because Wunderdog's owner is a certified AKC (American
Kennel Club) CGC (Canine Good Citizen) Evaluator, we also
offer instruction to complete the program and testing for
certification. We offer breed-selection services to clients
who are trying to decide on the breed best suited for their
lifestyle and family. Because it is our mission to improve
the lives of both owners and their canine companions, we
feel this is a necessary service and have had great success
in our recommendations.
At Wunderdog, we take pride in the cleanliness of our facility.
When your dog visits us, he/she will not go home smelling
like a kennel, but will come home freshly groomed, or in
the same condition as he/she was came to us in.
Wunderdog Philosophy:
Our philosophy at Wunderdog
is based on the humane treatment of animals. It is our belief
that all animals deserve respect, and a loving touch. At
Wunderdog, your dog will feel like he/she is part of the
family, and not just another visitor. Because we are well-
trained in the areas of animal behavior and training, Wunderdog
continues to have success in our daycare and training programs.
It is our belief that you can never be too careful with
an animal's safety, and we take the necessary precautions
when placing animals together, etc.
We believe in using most training devices, as long as they
are used in an efficient, positive, and healthy manner.
Wunderdog Services:
Although Wunderdog specializes
in canine care, we also offer other species care and assistance.
While we groom dogs (all ages), we also groom cats. If you
choose to have in-home care, we can take care of your birds,
horses, other livestock, cats, and of course, your Wunderdog(s)!
We offer "puppy care" for those who need that
initial training and care for their puppy during working
hours and on weekends. Socialize your dog through careful
group selection in our daycare program....or, maybe you
want your dog to have a "day of relaxation" and
receive play time, a full groom, and massage!
Get your dog into a "physical fitness program"
and get him/her started on losing weight and gaining muscle....let
us do the work FOR YOU.
